Kenect moved into a new building at the beginning of 2022, and so far, we are getting a lot of positive feedback from employees.

The new building is double the size of our previous space, and it offers more natural light, with floor-to-ceiling windows and an open floor plan.

We also have several new features including a game area and an arcade to give people a place to relax.

Now that we have been started to settle into the new space, we wanted to hear what Kenect employees had to say.

We started by asking the group of people who spend a lot of time there, the people on our Customer Success team. Here’s what Deanne Blackhurst had to say:

What do you like most about the new building?

The windows and all the natural light. Also, the view in the kitchen and how roomy the kitchen is.

I also really like the bird cage chairs.

How has it helped you in your current job?

The natural light is good for my mood. It’s an environment that I like to come to every day.

There are lots of private spaces for group meetings, one on one meetings, and even individual privacy needs.

Any other interesting tidbits?

I haven’t tried the massage chairs or the arcade, but I’m planning on it.

I love the building’s lobby, and the saltwater fish tank.

Sara Scott, also on our Customer Success team, shared his thoughts:

What do you like most about the new building?

Love the Light! Love Entrance off the Elevators. Just very inviting.

How has it helped you in your current job?

Beside people, the office makes it enjoyable to work and be here.

Any other interesting tidbits?

Love the location. To me it is a fantastic office.

Here is what Chris Hubbard had to say about the new space:

“The building is cool and is comfortable with all the seating areas. The space it the best part.”

Jake Drzayich also weighed in on the feel of the new building:

“It's clean, it's open and spacious. There are great spaces for communicating, relaxing, and eating. I feel like I have space to take a break and relax. It also gives me confidence in Kenect overall.”

The space is one of the many reasons Kenect was named one of the best places to work for in Utah, as voted on by current employees.

Kenect is working hard to make sure this place stays inviting and welcome to new and existing team members.

This is also only the beginning of the move. We have another space we are working on as Kenect continues to grow and add more team members.
