The demand for business texting is growing, so is the demand for good quality employees. At Kenect we have added dozens of new people in just the past year, and we continue to look for great talent.

Kenect was recently added to the Inc. 5000 list for the second year in a row, recognizing the growth we have experience over the past year. According to the list we are now the sixth fastest growing company in Utah.

We were also just added to the Mountain West Capitol Network’s 2022 Emerging Elite Companies list. This is for companies in business for less than 5 years and are showing tremendous growth.

As Kenect continues to expand, we are adding new team members nearly every week. This week we are introducing you to Lauren McAllister.

What is your role at Kenect?

Sales Development Manager

What is your favorite part about Kenect?

The culture is AMAZING! When other people ask me about my job, they always point out that I am smiling so big when I talk about Kenect.

What have you learned during your time with Kenect?

Growing up, both my dad and brother would quote Michael Jordan, "Talent wins games, but teamwork and intelligence win championships!" That is the definition of Kenect. The leadership wants everyone to be successful and feel successful. I have never been a part of an organization that is so uniting and exciting!

What is your favorite activity?

Playing card games, tennis, or pickle ball... but beware I'm probably the most competitive person you will EVER meet.

What is your favorite movie or TV show?

TV show is currently “Breaking Bad” and my all-time favorite movie is “Safe Haven.”

How do you like to spend your free time?

Right now, I am a full-time student at UVU, so pretty much any free time I have I will be doing homework sadly. If you don't see me doing homework in my free time you can expect to find me bribing my team to do an assignment (during lunchtime of course).

Something interesting about yourself?

I am deaf in my left ear. I also won the state championship in tennis doubles.

If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would you go, and why?

Most definitely New Zealand because that is where my husband is from, and his entire family is still there. Due to COVID-19 travel restrictions we couldn't go to New Zealand when my husband and I were dating. Now that we are married, and submitted to get his green card, we aren't allowed to leave the country for 18 months to possibly two years. I have only met my mother-in-law in person and haven't met my husband's brothers or dad yet.
