Getting to Know Kenect: Cole Herman

Our success is dependent on the hard-working people behind the scenes at Kenect. Today we would like to introduce you to just one of these people who recently joined our team, Cole Herman.
What is your role at Kenect?
Customer Marketing Manager. It's a brand-new position at Kenect, so I am excited to be here and make a difference!
What is your favorite part about Kenect?
The people and the opportunity! I have only been at Kenect for a month, and I love it. While I am learning a lot very quickly, I still have many questions, and I know that I can ask anyone anything, and they will help me out. With the company growing as fast as it is, the opportunities seem endless.
What have you learned during your time with Kenect?
Work hard, play hard! Everyone that I interact with works really hard, but they have a good time doing it. I can tell that solid friendships have been made here, and I am excited to be a part of that. We often spend more time here than anywhere else, so it's nice to be surrounded by such great people.
What is your favorite activity?
I love golfing. We spend a lot of time inside working, so it's nice to be outside, get fresh air, and enjoy the beautiful surroundings we have here in Utah.
I also love watching college football. When college football starts, I am sucked in and usually plan my weekend activities around when The Ohio State Buckeyes and The Texas Longhorns play.
What is your favorite movie or TV show?
“The Office!” I have watched the entire series from beginning to end at least 10 times! It is the best show ever made and never gets boring!
How do you like to spend your free time?
I love to spend my free time with my family. We spend a lot of time outside with our neighbors, and it's a good time. I have a smoker and love smoking meats!
Something interesting about yourself?
I am OCD about cleanliness… but my own cleanliness. For example, I vacuum my house every night because I hate crumbs on the floor, and I wash my and my wife's cars at least once a week. I want to clarify though, that I don't ever judge others on their cleanliness.
If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would you go, and why?
Hawaii. I have been there before, but it's such a beautiful place, and the tranquility of the island draws me in.
