On the Road With Kenect: RVDA Convention and Expo

As we round out 2022, our team is still out on the road sharing the benefits of texting Kenect can offer SMBs. This past week, we attended an RV event that is quickly becoming an annual tradition.

The RV Dealers Association Convention and Expo was held at Ceasars Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada this year. The event is a chance for RV dealers across the country to gather to network, and find out all the new innovations being used to bring in more revenue and communicate with customers.

There were no COVID restrictions at this year’s event, and there were a lot of dealers showing up in-person. They did offer some virtual booths for those that could not make it, and it was an easy way for people to attend, learn about new technologies, while not having to attend fully in-person.

Our team says this year’s convention was very busy. Safe to say business texting was a hot topic. Pretty much from the time they opened the doors, to the time we tore down our booth, our team was talking with current and potential customers.

“It seemed like 8 out of every 10 dealers that we talked to were customers that were singing Kenect’s praises,” said Cooper Hanson, who was at this year’s event.

The team says many current customers came up to the booth to say “hi,” and it was a great to show potential customers how much texting works for so many small RV dealers.

In addition to the booth we set up, Kenect Co-Founder and CSO, Graham Anderson held a speaking and Q and A session with dealers about texting and how it’s grown in just the past 12 months. The room was full, as interest in texting keeps growing among RV dealers.

“It seemed like every dealer had an idea of why texting is an important part of the industry,” Hanson said. “RVDA is always one of the best shows that we go to every year and it’s always busy.”

Because it was so busy, the team didn’t get a chance to experience all that Las Vegas had to offer, but they said they had some great meals! They spent most of the three days at the event talking with customers about texting and how customers are now asking businesses to use it.

We were happy to see the turnout this year, and expect next year’s event to be even bigger as more people start to travel again. Looking forward to RVDA 2023!
