One of the best ways to reach customers is through trade shows and conventions, and Kenect is committed to attending dozens of events each year to help teach people about our platform.
Today, we’re going to show you what our team experienced at the American Rental Association convention in Las Vegas.
What is ARA?
The American Rental Association show is a convention and trade show for the equipment and event rental industry.
The event was held this year at the Las Vegas Convention Center, and featured two floors filled with dealers, planners, and rental vendors.
The annual event showcases the latest innovations for those working on event spaces, and for those who are creating the special event or party.
Kenect at ARA:
This was the first time that Kenect attended the American Rental Association conference. We sent a small group down and spent three days meeting with potential customers.
The goal for us at this event was to focus on the event planning side of the show and introduce a new audience to the Kenect platform. We also wanted to show how the rental business could benefit from our texting and text-to-pay systems.
We did run into an existing customer, who was there as a dealer, and gave him a pair of our Kenect socks, which he wore around the event. However, a majority of those we spoke with were new to Kenect or had never even heard of our texting system.
While there, the team set up several demonstrations, and even signed up a handful of new customers.
Overall, the show was a success. It allowed our team to try something different, and to help spread the word about Kenect to an eager new group.
