Behind the Scenes: What the Kenect Expansion Looks Like

Kenect is the fastest growing tech company in the state of Utah and the fifth largest growing overall. As the company expands, so does the number of employees, and that means we are running out of space.

Recently, Kenect received national recognition when growth. Inc. magazine revealed that Kenect, the platform that allows businesses to connect with their customers, is ranked No. 216 on its annual Inc. 5000 list, the most prestigious ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies.

Kenect secured the spot with a three-year revenue growth rate of 2031%.

On top of that, Kenect employs more than 100 people, with an expectation to have more than 160 employees before the year ends.

Kenect currently makes its home base along South N County Road in Pleasant Grove, Utah. Now, a new building is being constructed in the same area, with more space, and more room for growth.

Kenect will occupy two floors in the new building. Kenect only occupies part of a floor in its current building, and space is getting full.

The plan for Kenect is to occupy one floor first, and then expand to the next floor as the building gets finished.

Pictures taken in late September show the progress so far. There is a lobby on the ground floor, complete with a fish tank, and the elevators and stairs are set.

On the floor where Kenect will move into, the outline of each space is mapped out, and walls are starting to go up. There are even some completed spaces in the interior of the building.

Kenect hopes to be in the space before the end of the year.
