Kenect is based in the “Silicon Slopes” of Utah. Our goal is to Kenect businesses with consumers through our state-of-the-art business texting platform.
We work very hard to make text messaging the primary communication tool for any business across the U.S. and Canada. Texting is the way the consumer wants to do business. It’s time for businesses to embrace that trend and stop the constant game of voicemails, phone tag, and making customers wait on hold.
We build React and React Native client applications that empower our customers to communicate efficiently with their customers via text messaging. Our applications talk via JSON APIs to our micro-service backend system. The entire ecosystem runs inside of Docker containers running in Kubernetes on Google Cloud Platform. We are an amazing team, made up of enthusiastic people that enjoy working together. We get excited about the tools and services we are creating and get even more excited about the value we’re creating for our customers.
Frontend engineers at Kenect work closely with UX and Product to build delightful user experiences. Often that takes a level of care and craftsmanship to ensure that we are balancing all of the micro interactions that happen in a modern UI. As such, we expect our frontend engineers to be passionate about user experience and the users they are serving.
As a Frontend Engineer you will be involved in making sure that our teams are making the best technical trade-offs. We are a results oriented team. We believe in having shared goals and a shared vision. We believe in giving ownership of the process to our teams (and the accountability that comes with it).
We believe in hiring self-motivated team members who can run alongside us without needing to be “managed” along the way. Yes, we have managers and 1:1s. Yes, we believe in giving open two-way feedback. We also believe in having team members that can run without the daily guidance that some companies prefer.
