With Kenect, our goal is to make text messaging the primary communication tool for any business across the U.S. and Canada.  Texting is the way the consumer wants to do business. It’s time for businesses to embrace that trend and stop the constant game of voicemails, phone tag, and making customers wait on hold.

The Role:

Kenect has experienced 4 years of supersonic growth, and we’re just getting started! We are now seeking to build out an internal recruiting function.  As the company adds employees at ever-increasing speed, we need to ensure that the new employees are just as good as the amazing people already on our team.  We really do have the best of the best.

We need a recruiting leader who can; first, define and design the recruiting process for Kenect, second, replicate the function, and third, execute.  We hope to provide a delightful experience for candidates and our internal hiring managers. This role will be fast-paced, self-managed, and highly entrepreneurial. This role will initially report to the VP of Finance and Operations.

What you'll do:

  • Implement an applicant tracking system
  • Design the recruiting process for each department
  • Drive hiring best practices across the business with a key focus on hiring top talent
  • Train first-time managers on hiring best practices
  • Build strategic partnerships with department/hiring leaders to execute their respective hiring needs
  • Leverage various networks and sourcing strategies to build passive and active candidate pools
  • Assist in negotiating and closing candidate offers
  • Manage candidate expectations through the recruiting process
  • Provide data/insight on market rate salaries and benefits by role
  • Scale a recruiting team as determined by company scale

An ideal candidate will have:

  • 7+ years of experience in SaaS recruiting
  • Experience and expert knowledge in the end-to-end recruiting cycle from candidate sourcing to offer negotiation
  • Entrepreneurial mind-set to build an in-house recruiting function from the ground up
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Results oriented, and self-motivated
